Hitting the ground running in 2026
England Rugby Travel Tours have operated huge numbers of tours this spring, delivering exceptional experiences through rugby. Camaraderie, the unity of the game and creating memories for a lifetime – this is what touring with us is all about.
sensational scenery and rugby royalty
All of our spring tours have taken us on adventures abroad.
We travelled to the Rainbow Nation with Hartpury College Boys. Taking on the challenge of the prestigious institution of South African schoolboy rugby, the boys played the likes of Windhoek, Garsfontein and Northcliff in the world champion Springboks’ backyard.
Excursions to the epic Table Mountain, awe-inspiring Kwa Maritane Game Reserve and impactful Robben Island helped to create the ultimate experience on and off the pitch.
Touring doesn’t get better than this.
a French experience of rugby and culture
Merchant Taylor’s School hopped across the channel to France, soaking up the sights and sounds of the nation who currently hold the six nations trophy.
The boys took on Iruna Rugby Club, a game format with over 100 years of history. No matter the level, the spirit of Le Crunch always makes a rugby match between English and French teams special.
Surfing lessons, enriching Pelota Basque Sessions and ferocious ProD2 fixtures helped to show that French Rugby is intertwined with their culture, providing an enchanting taste of the nation who sit at the top of Northern Hemisphere rugby.
French flair in rugby and culture – what’s not to like?
magnetic power
It has been a special few weeks for Hartpury Girls Under 18s rugby team.
They enjoyed their first ever rugby tour with us to France – more than 40 players, coaches and family experiencing the magnetic power only touring brings.
And the undoubted highlight was their fixture against Les Lioneses du Stade Bordelais U18. The women’s section of Bordeaux Begles have been French champions of Elite 1 three years in a row, so it was an incredible experience for the Hartpury girls to play against a team the equivalent of Premiership rugby in the UK.
Before the match, Les Lioneses put on a joint training session for the Hartpury girls – a memorable highlight from a brilliant first tour.
