They came, they saw, they landed a clean sweep!

England completed a sensational 3-0 series win over Australia with a stunning 44-40 victory in Sydney. It was the first time a Test side had recorded a clean sweep over the Wallabies in Australia since the 1971 South Africans and cemented England’s place as the second best team in the world.

The Aussies led by a point at half time thanks to the boot of Bernard Foley, after Dan Cole and Mike Brown had scored tries for England – Foley and Dane Haylett-Petty replied for the hosts.

Billy Vunipola crossed in the second half and despite tries from Michael Hooper and Isreal Folua, Owen Farrell’s boot and a try from Jamie George sealed the victory – and no doubt a well earned beer.
