A great year of rugby with England Rugby Travel
Wednesday 18 November 2020The 2014/2015 rugby season was one to remember and we got you closer to England Rugby, on and off the field, than anybody else. It's why we are different; it's why clients return to us and why we are the chosen travel company of England fans for tournaments, all over the world.
There were unique opportunities throughout the season to meet the coaching team behind the England squad, get up close and personal with rugby celebrities and hear some behind the scenes insight as to what makes the England team tick.
Our customers got the chance to Meet the England Coaches on the eve of the RBS 6 Nations Championship match in Dublin and will have the chance again in 2016 in Rome. Insight, laughs, stories, signings, photographs – it is always a great night to remember. Click here to see our great video from Dublin.
We enjoy great access to past England players, from Neil Back, Phil Greening and Mike Teague; we will give you the opportunity to meet the stars who know what it's like to wear the Red Rose. We even gave lucky England fan Craig Jones the opportunity to interview England's forward coach, Graham Rowntree at Twickenham before the RBS 6 Nations kicked off. Watch the video here.
In the build up to Rugby World Cup 2015 we caught up with England Rugby Travel Ambassador Richard Hill who told us about some of his England team memories when England lifted the Webb Ellis Cup in 2003. It's these special behind the scenes recollections that we can give you access to. Watch our video to hear what Richard had to say.
In 2015, we had the one and only Webb Ellis Cup on display at Twickenham. Fans could come and have their photograph taken with the famous gold trophy – what a memory to take away. No one gets you closer to the biggest tournaments in rugby.
At England Rugby Travel, we also love a party – and they don't come any bigger than the Hong Kong Sevens. For three days, the rugby world descends on Hong Kong for great rugby and an even better party. And what's more, we take you behind the scenes of the England Sevens team. Register for information for ticket-inclusive packages in 2016.
And lastly but by no means least – the rugby! From Twickenham, Dublin, Cardiff and Hong Kong, we have taken fans on a great rugby journey. From England's stunning result in Cardiff to despair in Dublin, the rugby has been awesome – and we can't wait for next season – and hope you can't too.
